Highest traffic day to date for Homes.com

Breaking Records On Monday, January 4th, more than 200,000 people visited Homes.com – a record number of visitors for just one day. In fact, it was the first day that Homes.com exceeded a total of 200,000 visitors. Homes.com, which is celebrating eleven years of connecting real estate professionals with homebuyers and sellers, also eclipsed 200,000 visitors on Tuesday, January 5th.

January is typically a high traffic month for Homes.com (over 3 million visitors in both January 2008 and 2009); however, this month more homebuyers are searching on Homes.com than ever before. With home sales reaching the highest level in almost three years, plus many people looking to capitalize on the homebuyer tax credit, more people are searching for homes online now that the holidays are behind us.
