Most of us have a LinkedIn profile, but are you actively (and correctly) using it to harvest business leads? If not, I have terrific news to help motivate you in stepping up your LinkedIn game! LinkedIn recently announced the launch of ProFinder, a professional services marketplace where users can search for independent professional services such as marketing, design, and real estate. Right now it is in pilot mode in certain US metropolitan areas. I am here to help you prepare for launch by providing a checklist of the essentials you need to ensure you are ready!
If you sign up for the ProFinder program (why wouldn’t you?), LinkedIn will pull certain sections of data from your normal profile and feed it into this program (that’s why it’s important to beef it up now)! The information that comes over from your profile is your photo, headline, background image, summary, published posts and recommendations. With a profile full of great info, you will be eligible to match more potential clients searching for your professional services! Now is also the time to grow your LinkedIn connections because ProFinder will also match the service professional with common links between networks, which automatically increases the level of trust!
What’s unique about this new lead generating platform? It is for serious inquiries only! People are reaching out to you! Imagine little to no time time calling/texting/emailing/sending carrier pigeon without response. These are serious consumers looking for exceptional candidates to serve their real estate needs. Think of the possibilities: investors, commercial, residential, property management, the list could go on! Each time your profile matches with a user, think of it as a mini job-interview. The person can choose you based on what you offer in your profile and you can earn their business with your response. This could change everything! So, let’s dive in and ensure your profile is in tip-top shape!
