Skydeck at Willis Tower
The conference theme this year is “The Sky’s the Limit,” so it’s only appropriate that you make time to visit the Skydeck at Willis Tower. Here you’ll enjoy a view of Chicago spanning up to 50 miles. For an even greater thrill, step out onto one of the glass balconies. Equipped with fully transparent glass floors, these balconies offer unforgettable views from 1,353 feet above ground!
Take a Tour
However you like to travel, Chicago has a guided tour for you, with comfortable transport available via SUV, bus, boat, or helicopter. Chicago’s huge range of tours can take you anywhere in the city and cover topics ranging from architecture to food to the history of Chicago’s crime and mobs.
Millennium Park is home to great art, architecture, and a surprising amount of history. Stop by and take a picture by Cloud Gate (aka, “The Bean”), check out the Chakaia Booker exhibition, stroll through Lurie Garden, and take in an incredible view of the city.
Indulge Your Tastebuds
Chicago has taken many of the foods we enjoy nationwide and made them “Chicago style.” Why not indulge in these foods in the city they’re named for? Grab a slice of Chicago style pizza, a Chicago style hot dog, or try some of Chicago’s other culinary delights!
The Magnificent Mile
If you’re not sure what to do in Chicago, the Magnificent Mile may be the place for you. This is one of Chicago’s hottest spots for shopping, dining, museums, theatres, tours, comedy clubs, and other attractions.
You don’t have to be a fan of the Chicago Cubs to enjoy a trip to Wrigley Field. Take a behind-the-scenes tour to discover over 100 years of history or just stop by for some great photo-ops!
Admire a wide range of artistic and cultural treasures at Navy Pier during the Sculpture Objects Functional Art and Design (SOFA) Fair on November 2-5, or take a ride on the Centennial Wheel for a fun view of the city and Lake Michigan!
Art Institute of Chicago
Don’t miss your chance to visit the Art Institute of Chicago. Voted the #1 museum in the world by TripAdvisor in 2014, it’s home to works by Van Gogh, Monet, Degas, and Gaugin. The museum also hosts collections of African, American, and European art, as well as pieces from ancient Byzantium, Indian Art from the Americas, and more.
Visit one of the largest fountains in the world! The central fountain shoots water 150 feet into the air during the hourly water display. Buckingham Fountain has water and light shows each evening as well.
Don’t forget while you’re checking out the great attractions above to stop by the Homes.com booth! We’ll have free drinks, cash drawings, and informative educational sessions! We look forward to seeing you!
