Homes.com Account Upgrade! More Room for Important Data

HDC_OCT_Update_Blog_1200x600Homes.com offers a free customer relationship manager (CRM) and lead management system as a courtesy to all real estate professionals with or without a paid Homes.com account. Recently, that CRM received a great new upgrade: more data fields! You can now add more information and track your leads in new ways, helping you leverage your leads more effectively than ever before!

Some of the new fields include

  • Alternate email address
  • Additional mobile #
  • Additional work #
  • Work address (address/city/state/zip/county/country)
  • Commission estimate
  • Closing date
  • Anniversary date
  • Birthday
  • Referred by
  • Partner/spouse (first name, last name, primary email, phone (mobile), phone (work)

Alternate email address, work address: Your leads or clients may find it easier to meet at work or communicate through a work or secondary email address. Now you have the fields to save that information!

Additional mobile #, additional work #: Someone’s cell phone or home phone isn’t always the best way to contact them. In the past you would have had to give up one of those phone fields. Now you can store more phone numbers (and under the correct fields!), making it easier to reach your leads and clients wherever they go.

Closing date, anniversary date, birthday: Take advantage of these new data fields to keep track of important dates so you can send your clients a text on their birthday, anniversary, or closing date each year, bringing you back to top of mind.

Commission estimate: This field can be very motivational. A commission estimate field helps you keep your eye on the prize as you nurture new leads.

Referred by: Not every referral works out right away, but that doesn’t mean that that person won’t buy or sell in the future. When they do finally close their deal, without a “referred by” field, it can be hard to remember who referred you in the first place. With a “referred by” field, it’s easy to reach out to the referrer and thank them again for introducing you!

Partner/spouse: While there are plenty of single buyers, according to the NAR 2016 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, 75% of buyer are couples. With that in mind, we want to make sure you can store the name, phone number, and email address of both your lead and their partner or spouse.

If you don’t already have an account, visit Profile.Homes.com to set up your free profile, access your CRM, and claim the leads generated on your listings.   1. The csv file provided to import contacts does not contain these new fields. Will it be updated so I can simply import all the info from my database or do I have to manually update each contact record?

If you’re already a Homes.com customer, you can log in to your account here: http://www.homes.com/MyHomes/ConnectLogin.cfm and your CRM tools will be available under the “Apps” menu at the top left. If you need any help with the features or getting logged in, give us a call! Our support number is 866-774-2947 and we’re here from 8am-8pm EST M-F and 11-3 EST on weekends. You can also reach us via support@homes.com if that’s more convenient for you.

      Thanks for your question! Right now, you would have to manually enter the information, but our development team is working on an updated CSV file to make it easier to add moving forward.
