Today’s Customer Service Week Tip: See Things Through to the very end

As we discussed yesterday, the real estate industry can have its stressful, harrowing moments. It can be a battle sometimes. But a little fishy once said, “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming…”

And that’s the best we can do!

To be of good service to your client, make sure you see each and every little thing through. While, yes, that can absolutely mean “sealing the deal,” that’s not all we mean. That’s the big picture. Start small.

See that phone call through.

See that meeting through.

See that to-do list through.

Every little thing you do during your day, make sure you don’t skimp out on it. Give every little bit of your day your all. Tackle each task to the best of your ability, all the way through to the very end. If you do that with all of your little things, that means taking on your big things (closing that deal!) will be that much more manageable. Also, your clients will appreciate your attention to detail and your commitment to excellence.

Customer Service Week Tip: Practice Patience

Today’s Customer Service Week Tip: Practice Patience - Even When it’s Hard

You’re busy. You’re frazzled. You’re going from a consultation with a client to a showing with another one at a million miles a minute. Make no mistake — the real estate industry, while fun, can be a harrowing place.

But just because you’re harrowed doesn’t mean you have to show it! As a matter of fact, just because you’re busy, doesn’t mean you have to FEEL busy!

Look at every hustlin’, bustlin’ day as an opportunity to practice patience. Take a second. Breathe in. Breathe out. Listen to calming music in your car. Do whatever you have to in order to bring yourself back to center. That way, you can give the utmost quality service to each and every client with whom you interact that day. Taking care of yourself is one of the best ways to take care of other people!

Tell us – what do you do to calm yourself and be more patient with others?

Our expert team works tirelessly year round to ensure the quality and efficiency of our products so that you have the best experience as a Homes.com partner!

This year’s Customer Service Week theme is Be The One, so the entire week we will not only be pushing ourselves to be the ONE to heed all of your needs, but we will also be posting a Be The One Tip on our blog each day to help YOU be the one to your clients as well! Lastly, we’ll be celebrating in our office by closing early at 1PM Eastern time on Friday, October 5th. We encourage you to do the same with your business – you deserve it for being such a great service to your clients throughout the year!
